Swati Anand, a dedicated paraprofessional in the HHH District for the past four years, has had a profound impact on our community through her extensive involvement and leadership. In her role at the elementary school, she not only excels in duties but also actively participates in various community service projects, enhancing the school’s outreach and support programs. Beyond her professional commitments, Swati is a passionate parent member of the Young Khalsa Girls, where she contributes to youth development and community engagements. She recently participated in a community fundraiser to raise money for toys for underprivileged youth. She instills the values of seva and community service in her daughters, aged 13 and 16, guiding them to actively contribute at the gurudwara and by being part of the Young Khalsa Girls (New York Chapter). Through her multifaceted involvement, Swati models compassion and dedication, fostering a spirit of giving and engagement in both her school community and her family. She looks forward to being a part of the APS and continuing to make a difference.
