APS Gurudham Yatra’s Gurdwara Kaira Saheb
APS Gurudham Yatra – Gurdwara Kaira Sahib
Gurdwara Kaira Sahib, located in Eminabad (Pakistan), is a revered historical shrine associated
with Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This sacred place commemorates the period when Guru Ji was imprisoned
during Babar’s invasion and was forced into labor at the local flour mill (chakki). Through His divine grace,
the grinding stone turned on its own, revealing Guru Ji’s spiritual power and the truth of His message.
History of Gurdwara Kaira Sahib
Gurdwara Kaira Sahib marks the exact location where Guru Nanak Dev Ji was made to work at the flour mill
under harsh conditions. The Mughal soldiers forced prisoners to grind wheat, but Guru Ji’s chakki began to
move effortlessly without human touch. Witnessing this miracle, people realized the divine nature of Guru Ji
and His message of peace and justice.
This shrine stands today as a symbol of spiritual strength, divine truth, and the victory of righteousness
even during the darkest times of oppression.
