APS Participates in Faith Leaders Mental
Health Forum at Northwell Health HQ

Dear APS Family,

At Northwell Health Headquarters, APS President Gary Sikka joined Northwell President & CEO John K. D’Angelo, MD, along with Northwell Vice President Debbie Salas-Lopez, MD, MPH; John Q. Young, MD, MPP, PhD; and distinguished faith and community leaders at the Faith Leaders Mental Health Forum.

Also present were Isma H. Chaudhry, MD, MPH from the Islamic Center of Long Island and Hofstra University; Reverend Dr. Phil Craig, M. Div., MBA from Greater Springfield Community Church and National Action Network; Luis Vasquez, President-LIHCC; and Mohinder Singh Taneja, Senior Vice President of Gurudwara Guru Gobind Singh Sikh Center & American Punjabi Society.

The forum focused on strengthening mental health awareness, community collaboration, and the important role faith leaders play in supporting emotional and social well-being across diverse communities.
