APS Gurudham Yatra’s Gurdwara Tambu SahIb
APS Gurudham Yatra – Gurdwara Tambu Sahib
Gurdwara Tambu Sahib, located in Eminabad (Pakistan), is a sacred historical shrine
associated with Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It marks the divine moment when Guru Nanak Dev Ji
and Bhai Mardana Ji sheltered under a miraculous “Tambu” (tent) that appeared by Guru Ji’s grace.
This holy site is a symbol of Guru Ji’s compassion, protection, and spiritual power.
History of Gurdwara Tambu Sahib
Gurdwara Tambu Sahib commemorates the time when the Mughal forces captured the residents of Eminabad
after Babar’s invasion. Guru Nanak Dev Ji, along with many innocent people, was imprisoned.
Despite the harsh conditions, Guru Ji remained in a state of divine peace.
When heavy rains fell and the prisoners had nowhere to take shelter, Guru Ji’s resting place
was divinely transformed into a Tambu (tent-like canopy) that protected Him and Bhai Mardana Ji.
This miraculous event is remembered as a powerful message of hope and divine protection.
The site stands today as a reminder of Guru Ji’s strength, compassion, and His message of equality, freedom, and truth.
APS Gurudham Yatra – Visit to Gurdwara Tambu Sahib
